The staff welcomed me warmly and were very pleasant, making my stay memorable, plus the room was cozy and the bed extremely comfortable for a great night's sleep. Rewritten: the staff here were friendly and welcoming, and I'll always remember them; the room was warm, and I had a great night's sleep in an exceptionally comfy bed.

Large rooms with seperate bedroom, easy parking, freindly hosts, laundry on site, good number of cups, plates, glasses, etc. and tea hot water pot. Free newspaper. Note: Motels are somewhat busy due to the earthquake destroying many hotels, so early reservations are advisable..
Quite a few stairs to upstairs rooms. No Air conditioning, but usually not real hot - although it was when we were there.

The lady boss is friendly. Good location for Gondola ride, Agrodome, Rainbow Springs, Zorb and Quad Zone. Free Wifi.
This is not a 4 Star lodge. Only 9 units of motel rooms and a drive way with parking beside the rooms. Tired looking place and rooms were quite run down. For budget travellers its aceptable.

The location of this place is ideal with just a short 4-6 minute walk to Victoria Street and the city center is also within reach.

It was well located - about a 15 minute walk from the city and a 5 minute walk from Hagley Park. The room was quite big and the cooking facilities were good. Despite being on a main road it was quiet, and the main road it was on led straight to the airport.

We stayed at this hotel and couldn't have been happier with our experience. The room was incredibly spacious and immaculately clean, providing us with all the necessary amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect, with plenty of great restaurants within walking distance and easy access to the city centre and botanic gardens. The staff member who assisted us was extremely helpful and gave us fantastic recommendations for shopping, banking, and dining options. Their suggestions proved to be excellent choices, enhancing our overall experience. We were also delighted to be able to check-in earlier than expected, which was a nice touch.

Met with a friendly greeting, shown to our room with full explaination of services of the motor lodge, eaterys in close location, within walking distance to CBD. Room was above what we expected, with rubbish seperation for recycling etc, lovely, comfortable big queen bed, 50 channel sky TV and a huge selection of quaility teas and coffee. Deep spa bath with full range of toiletries. An enjoyable stay, highly reconmend to anyone. We did notice on our stay, Amross was booked out while other hotel/motels in the same location were vacant.
